Professional Activities
Kirsten is Past President of the Kamloops Bar Association and an
active member of the Canadian Bar Association and Trial Lawyers
Association of British Columbia.
Education & Experience
Kirsten completed her undergraduate degrees at both Concordia
University in Montreal (1991) and Camosun College in Victoria
(2000) before receiving her law degree from the University of
British Columbia in Vancouver in 2003. She was called to the
British Columbia Bar in 2004. Kirsten joined Robertson, Downe
& Mullally in April 2008, after articling and practicing law at
a respected law firm in Kamloops from 2003-2008.
Personal Background & Community Activities
Born
and raised in New Brunswick, Kirsten has lived in various parts
of the country. Upon leaving Montreal in 1993, she lived
in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories where she worked for five
years in the education system as a French Education Assistant
and a Program Support Assistant. She also lived and worked in
Inuvik, Northwest Territories as a Special Needs Assistant.
Before commencing her law degree Kirsten worked as a 911
operator for the Saanich Police Department in Victoria.
Kirsten is also an experienced university and college basketball
official, and has worked in that capacity throughout Canada and
parts of the U.S. She has been actively involved in her
community as a volunteer on various boards and is currently a
member of the Fraser Valley Basketball Officials Association.
