Shelly L. Avram
B.A., M.A., L.L.B
Shelly obtained her Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree from the University of Victoria (1994) and then moved to Ontario to complete her Master's degree in Political Science (1996) and her Law degree (1999), both from the University of Western Ontario. After completing her Law degree, Shelly moved back to the West Coast and articled with a large, full-service firm in Vancouver. She was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2000.
Shelly has recently joined Robertson, Downe & Mullally after spending several years practicing in Vancouver in the areas of both civil litigation and criminal law. She is active in the
Canadian Bar Association (BC Branch) and has been a member of the executive of the Women's Practice and Equality Section of the Canadian Bar Association since she was called to the Bar. At Robertson, Downe & Mullally, Shelly will be
focusing her practice on the areas of personal injury, insurance defense, and labour and employment litigation. In addition, she will assist clients with mediation and other alternative dispute resolution options.
